Temporal Defense Systems Purchases the First D-Wave 2000Q Quantum Computer
Cyber security technology company to integrate system to solve critical and complex cyber security problems
Hanover, MD and Kirkland, WA–(Marketwired – January 24, 2017) – D-Wave Systems Inc., the leader in quantum computing systems and software, and Temporal Defense Systems Inc. (TDS), a leading edge cyber security firm, announced today that TDS will acquire the first D-Wave 2000Q™ quantum computer. The D-Wave 2000Q system, valued at $15 million, will be used with TDS technology to solve some of the most critical and complex cyber security problems impacting governments and commercial enterprises. The agreement also includes upgrades to future D-Wave quantum processing units (QPUs).

This technology will take cyber security products to the next level with real-time security level rating, device-to-device authentication, identification of long-term persistent threats, and detection and prevention of insider threats before network compromise and data theft occurs.
